ThundaHire ("we", "us", or "our") operates the ThundaHire platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

Employer accounts: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, company name, and payment information (processed securely via Stripe).

Candidates: When candidates complete a video interview, we collect their name, email address, and video recordings. Candidates do not need to create an account.

Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain our services
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To store and deliver video interview recordings to employers
• To send transactional emails (e.g. invite links, account updates)
• To improve our platform and fix issues
• To respond to support requests and contact form messages

4. Video Data

Candidate video recordings are stored securely in private cloud storage and are only accessible to the employer who created the interview. Videos are served via time-limited signed URLs and are never made publicly accessible.

Videos are retained according to the employer's plan (30 days for Free, 1 year for Pro, unlimited for Enterprise). After the retention period, videos are permanently deleted.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with third-party services necessary to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and file storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — application hosting

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on all database tables, signed URLs for video access, and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Export your data in a portable format
